McCain's Notes

I thought it was interesting that McCain started scribbling notes as soon as he was on stage. Was that sort of like taking a test in school, when we'd memorized a mnemonic and needed to get it down before we forgot it?

Then he was scribbling away, as though he has no memory.

The worst was when Brokaw had his prioritizing question, and McCain heard the question, then needed to have the three items repeated so he could get them jotted down before forgetting them. What? He can't wing it with a list of three issues?
