The Republicans Have Zero Ideas

The health care reform bill made it through the Senate, finally being approved 60-39.

Republican Mitch McConnell, universally known as a worthless scoundrel, had this to say: "This fight is long from over. My colleagues and I will work to stop this bill from becoming law. That's the clear will of the American people."

No, the clear will of the American people was made known in the 2008 election, which McConnell and the others ignore. Yes, with a lot of ignorant lies -- "Death Panels," "Killing Grandma" -- you can get a lot of people worked up. But that's not "the clear will" of the American people. That's demagoguery and fear-mongering.

If McConnell and the other crumbs had one lick of sense as it relates to "the American people," they would've been putting forth some good ideas over the last year's debate. Or, before that, they would've been doing something decent for health care in the years they were in power. But no.... It's easier to do nothing and tear down anyone who's trying to do something.

Where's the Republican ideas? There aren't any.
