How Stupid Is Former Massachusetts Gov. Jane Swift?

She's never heard the expression "lipstick on a pig"? The old phrase that is like this ... "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig!" Meaning you have bad ideas, and no matter how much you try to disguise them they're still bad ideas.

No, in this silly season of sometimes intentional stupidity, former Massachusetts Governor Jane Swift, thinks when Barack Obama uses this old chestnut he's calling Pinocchio Palin a pig! Really, how likely is that?

Surely that's a stretch even for the stupidest of Republican morons, right? Apparently not. Memo to McCain, you need to vet your people to make sure they have basic intelligence. Heckuva job, Swifty!

Hey, ever heard of that teaching of Jesus? "Don't cast your pearls before swine." Say that to someone and if they're opposed to you their response will invariably be, "Oh, so you're calling me a pig!" No, I'm just using a phrase from the wisdom teachings that means don't waste your time on those who won't "get it." Of course, if you think you're a pig, oink oink, I won't try to talk you out of it.
