Palin: Well-Informed Second Grader

Sarah Palin on the upcoming debate with Joe Biden:

“I’m looking forward to meeting him, too,’’ she said. “I’ve never met him before, but I’ve been hearing about his Senate speeches since I was in, like, second grade.’’

She's definitely got me beat. When I was in second grade I was barely aware that politics -- the Senate, the House, all that -- even existed. Of course I must have known there was a president, and I know who the president was at the time, by hindsight, but that's about it.

The fact that Palin was hearing about Biden's Senate speeches that early in life is very impressive.
